A brand-new poll 👀
A brand-new New York Times/Siena College poll has me ahead by ONE single point in Iowa’s governor’s race. 🤯
If partisan insiders weren’t shaking in their boots before (they were), then they DEFINITELY are now.
Republicans are contributing to our campaign at a higher rate than to our opponent’s.
We locked up the Democratic nomination with a record-breaking number of petition signatures to get my name on the ballot.
Cook Political Report, Sabato’s Crystal Ball, AND Inside Elections all moved this race from Lean R to a Toss-Up.
Zach Lahn has held just one public event since he won the primary last month. Meanwhile, we’re on our 100 Town Halls tour talking with Iowans across the state.
That’s the good news. There’s a lot of it. But we can’t take our foot off the gas.
Even with so much going right for us, this race is still a dead heat. And honestly, the race will probably come down to the wire in November.
That doesn’t scare me — it fuels me. It makes me even more determined to work HARDER, raise MORE, and spend SMARTER than Kansas Zach to win.
We’ve got the winning message, but Lahn is already spending over $400,000 a week on ads to scare swing voters away from our campaign and control the narrative.
So my question is: Do you accept the challenge?
